I normally wear a 9.5-10 in most shoes (depends on the make, usually). I do not like Keen 'shoes' but these slippers are great! Many reviewers said these run a little small so I ordered a 10 and a 10.5. The 10.5 was way too big in this slide for me. The 10 is better for me but still a little loose in the heel so the 9.5 should be, and is, fine. I will update if not. The 9.5M IS still a little loose in the heel, but these are slippers and are VERY comfortable so I will be keeping these. These are warm but not hot, and are very nice looking and comfortable to slip into easily, without bending over or using a shoehorn. I forgot I was wearing them one outing and my jeans covered the faux fur yet no one noticed (my family that would be glad to tell me things like that as I age) when we went out shopping. This has a suede leather upper (which will stretch, as leather does) and non-marking and non-squeak rubber soles. The inner part can be removed and your orthotics can be inserted, but I like their cushioned inserts. I found the Howser alone to be too cool in the winter (fabric upper) and socks were needed but the Howser 'Mule' Slide I could wear with or without socks. It is pretty cool up here in MT most of the year and I occasionally step outside; socks and cloth-bottom slippers get wet and these do not, so, they are perfect if you want to be lazy, or are retired. I recommend that you try different sizes, give them a few days on the carpet, and return what does not fit/feel right. Hint: When Amazon Prime carry's it it is in the $40's, when carried by a retailer with 'free shipping' it is in the $60's.These arrived brand new, fast, as described, and well packed. I finally found the perfect slipper. I highly recommend this slipper and to, at least, try, I will buy another pair, and I hope this helps someone.I had an older pair of Keen slides (slippers) for a few years but the adhesive wore down and sides started separating so I got these in green. They seem slightly bigger despite them being the same size as the old ones (10.5). I'd probably get a half size down if I knew that ahead of time. Regardless, they're comfortable for me to putz around in the house so I'm happy with them. Give them a week to break in and you'll be happy. I've avoided stubbing my toes plenty of times because of the protective lip on these.I purchased these slippers to replace another pair of Keen slippers that I have owned for a number of years. I am counting on these slippers to be just as dependable and long lasting as my previous pair.I've been wearing Keen shoes for the better part of 20 years, and for good reason...They're really comfy to wear, which brings me to this review. I didn't give it a second thought when purchasing these, and looked forward to getting them. When they arrived, I put them on and at first, they felt ok, (new shoes always feel better after wearing them for few days), but in this case, they felt worse after only a few days. My feet started hurting on the ridges and tops. It got so bad I stopped wearing them. I own a pair of Targahee II's and they're great, but not these. I don't know if I got a fluke pair or what, but they went right back to Amazon. I've noticed a trend with some reputable companies where their products have suffered a bit in quality. And I'm talking about higher end stuff too. I really hope Keen doesn't start falling short too. These are the best slippers I've had and I wear them all the time. The first pair of Keen's I bought had kind of a felt looking exterior and they tore up fairly quickly for some reason though a family member has an identical pair that are still in great shape a couple years later so maybe I just really abused mine. These are really looking to be durable as I've used the crap out of them and they still look like new. I wear them around the house and even outside some pretty much year round. I'm sticking with Keen.Update: 5/30/2018 I'm still wearing these slippers though the soles are starting to show some wear and are getting pretty thin. I really wish Keen would make this version of these slippers again as it's been the most durable pair I've owned by far. Perhaps that's why they don't make them anymore? At any rate I wish I could buy another pair.I love these. They are great for wear around the yard and neighborhood. Quick on and off for running out the door to walk the dog or take out the trash. Comfortable as heck. Rugged enough to wear in the rain or while mowing the lawn. I only wish there was a brown color option.I have another pair of Keen slippers (not sliders) and they have lasted a very long time. Nothing has broken down so they are just as comfortable today as they were on day 1. By the looks of my new sliders, I expect the same.A little tight atleound the instep. Runs sligthly long but overall very comfortableYou can't do better in comfort than Keen slippers and sandals. My husband was buying dollar store grade slippers which fell apart after a month. Now he is happy to finally have the most comfortable warm slippers around. These fit true to size and proven to be the Keen quality and comfort I expect. Can wear them inside or out thanks to the thick rubber sole.Pricey for slippers, but I love them. Great look, fit and form.
